BEIJING, Jan. 11 (Xinhua) -- China has approved theestablishment of one more center to reduce processing time and cost ofintellectual property rights (IPR) protection, the National IntellectualProperty Administration said Monday.
The center, to be set up in east China's FujianProvince, will offer quick services such as IPR review, verification andprotection to enterprises in the industries of machinery equipment andinformation technology.
So far, China has 41 IPR protection centers acrossthe country.
By setting up IPR protection centers in cooperationwith local governments, the administration launched the collaborativeprotection of IPR in 2016 to address difficulties in obtaining evidence andreduce the duration and cost involved in IPR protection. Enditem
